With the Finesse Goby, we're launching our first lure made from TPE material. We deliberately chose this material because it's perfectly suited to imitating a bottom baitfish. Another advantage of TPE is its high elasticity. This allows the lure to withstand significantly more bites and ensures a long lifespan. At the same time, TPE is considered more environmentally friendly than many PVC soft plastic lures.
TPE floats, is highly elastic, and gives the Finesse Goby a particularly enticing presentation when used with Ned Jigs, Rubber Jigs, as well as standard jigs or the Rushka rig. Because the lure is buoyant, it stands upright on the bottom and performs its best even during periods of inactivity.
Small hops along the bottom, as well as slow dragging and twitching, are particularly effective retrieve techniques.
We paid close attention to every detail in the design of the Finesse Goby. The pectoral and tail fins are positioned and designed to create subtle micro-vibrations when the lure is moved. These vibrations give the lure just the right subtle action that perch and zander love.
Thanks to the integrated offset slots and offset rim, the Finesse Goby is very versatile and can even be used weed-free on an offset hook.
Please note that TPE lures should never be stored together with PVC lures!
To maintain the shape of the Finesse Goby, we also recommend storing the lures in the supplied blister pack and not placing them directly in a tackle box. Otherwise, TPE lures deform quite quickly if stored bent for extended periods.
