Innovativt hårdbete från Nishine. 4,8 cm och 4,4 g. Sjunkhastighet 30 cm / sek.
A strange little lure with power sources at both the front lip and the rear lip. That may be your first impression when you look at the Otonabee 48. What this unusual design accomplishes is extraordinary swimming performance. The Otonabee 48 delivers an ultra-high-pitch action rarely seen in minnow-style plugs, swimming with a vibration frequency comparable to that of a lipless crankbait. The front lip initiates the action, while the Tail Drive System amplifies and accelerates it. The lure takes its name from Canada's Otonabee River, which was described by Indigenous peoples as "a river that flows with the rhythm of a beating heart." Like that heartbeat, the Otonabee 48 swims with remarkable energy and life. We invite you to experience it for yourself.

Features
The Otonabee 48 is a sinking minnow that utilizes two lips action-generating systems: the front lip and NLW's proprietary Tail Drive System. Together they create an extremely high-pitch swimming action.
Action
The lure performs effectively across a wide range of retrieve speeds, from slow to very fast.
When worked correctly, it can produce an incredibly fast rolling action that we call the Drill Roll Action.
Drill Roll Action
Unlike conventional minnow plugs, the Tail Drive System grabs water during twitches and rod movements, generating an extremely high-speed rolling action.
This unique characteristic allows the lure to create intense flashing while moving very slowly, almost as if it were hovering in place.
The technique requires a little practice, but a slightly aggressive shaking retrieve—similar to a power mid-strolling presentation—can easily trigger the Drill Roll Action.
Give it a try.
Hook Configurations
The standard Otonabee 48 comes equipped with a single rear treble hook, which provides the most responsive Drill Roll Action.
However, anglers can customize the lure in various ways:
• Two treble hooks (adding a belly hook)
• One single hook
• Two single hooks
The two-treble setup is particularly effective when fish are striking from below.
